Early Years Room Leader – Atherton, Greater Manchester
Pay: £89.44 – £100 per day (Dependant On Experience)
Contract: Temporary, with full-time and part-time hours available
Start: Immediate
A welcoming nursery in Atherton is looking for a dedicated Room Leader to guide and inspire their early years team. This is an excellent chance for a qualified practitioner to step into a leadership role and make a real difference in a child-centred setting.
What we’re looking for:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent).
- Paediatric First Aid, safeguarding knowledge and an Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
- Hands-on experience with children aged 0–5.
- Leadership or supervisory background within an early years environment is a strong advantage.
- Sound understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking the lead in your room and supporting staff day to day.
- Creating a safe, inclusive and engaging learning space.
- Planning fun and purposeful activities that encourage growth.
- Observing and tracking progress to support every child’s needs.
- Building strong, professional partnerships with families.
- Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety are always prioritised.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
