A Primary School in Haslingden are in need of an experienced Practitioner to join their 'welcoming and dedicated' team. The role is to begin after the May Half Term and is on a temporary basis until the Summer Holidays. You are required to teach the Year 6 Class in preparation for their SATS. Due to this, the Practitioner must have to ability to deliver high quality lessons following the National Curriculum in a structured and engaging manner.

The Class holds 28 pupils, with a mixture of 'Below, At and Exceeding Age Related Expectations' and a small number of children with Special Educational Needs and also children with English as an Additional Language. You will also have the support of a Teaching Assistant who should be utilised to deliver in-depth and effective Maths and English interventions to help boost attainment.

If you are successful, the Head Teacher would like you to come in to the School and do a short interview and also deliver a short lesson which is to be observed. The School has recently been graded 'Good' by Ofsted and the Head Teacher wants to keep up the high standards around School.The School is a reputable School and the general behaviour of the School is 'Good' as stated by the Head Teacher.

The School is located outside of Haslingden Town Centre and has easily accessible bus routes nearby if you do not drive, however, if you do drive, parking at the School is spacious. The position is Full time Monday to Friday, working 6.5 hours a day.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £100-£130 per day (varies depending on experience)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
