Teaching Personnel are currently seeking applications from Invigilation’s staff that are available to invigilate and supervise during the upcoming exam period (March – June.)
The successful invigilators will be supervising students undertaking their exams, ensuring that they remain on task and silent at this crucial time. This may be on a full or part-time basis depending on the exam timetable but you can expect to be working regularly.
If successful then you will likely be expected to invigilate during morning and afternoon slots however there is flexibility for invigilators that wish to work a morning or afternoon.
To ensure continuity, our client school is also keen for invigilators who have previous experience in a secondary school setting as a Teaching Assistant, Teacher or Cover Supervisor. Work in the following areas can also be obtained on a flexible or full-time basis dependent on your availability for work.
Highlights of this role are as follows:
- Exam invigilation: flexible, part time and full time opportunities available
- Teaching Assistant, Supply Teaching and Cover Supervising roles also available for those wishing to gain further experience within a ‘Good’ Bolton based Secondary school.
- Whilst invigilating within our client secondary school you can expect to earn a minimum of £10.80 - £12 per hour
The school is smaller than the average secondary school in the area with around 680 students enrolled currently. Located in the centre of Wigan or this school is easily accessible with good public transport links. There is onsite staff car parking available for staff members working within the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
