Supply Teacher – Flexible Opportunities Available
Location: Wigan
Contract: Flexible (Full-time or Part-time, Term-time only)
Salary: £120 – £150 per day (dependent on experience and role)
Start Date: Ongoing / September
Are you a qualified teacher looking for flexible work in local schools? Whether you’re looking for short-term supply, part-time hours, or longer-term placements, we have a range of teaching opportunities available across Wigan.
We are working closely with a number of secondary schools in the Wigan area who are looking for reliable, enthusiastic, and adaptable teachers to join their supply pool. This is an ideal role for experienced teachers, ECTs, or those looking to return to the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
-
Provide continuity in learning and maintain high expectations
-
Adapt to different school settings, year groups, and subjects as needed
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
QTS or QTLS (UK recognised teaching qualification)
-
Strong classroom management and communication skills
-
A flexible, positive, and professional approach
-
Experience teaching in secondary schools (any subject specialism welcome)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
