English Teaching Assistant, Camden

Person Specification

My client secondary school is looking for an ambitious English graduate who has previous experience working in a school and a 2:1 degree at the very least. The ideal candidate will have the capabilities to build a strong network around them, connecting with teachers, pupils, parents and outside agencies. You will be a graduate who can demonstrate a true passion for teaching and educating the next generation of academics. You will need to have a positive approach to keep students motivated during even the most difficult lessons.

About the Role

In this role you will contribute to the general push to raise attainment and focus learning by supporting booster groups and 1:1 intervention sessions. You will have the responsibility of playing a vital role in lesson planning and preparation, learning important skills while making an important contribution. This English Teaching Assistant position involves preparing for any challenges you might face in the classroom by learning the best approach from an accomplished Class Teacher who has already seen several graduates succeed in their PGCEs.
