English teacher -Bolton (12 Month Maternity Cover)

Are you an English teacher looking for a new position in September?

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting an English teacher for a client school based in Bolton for a 12 month period to cover a maternity leave.

The incoming English teacher will be required to teach both KS3 and KS4 students and support them in reaching their full potential.

  • Full time English teacher role
  • 12 month maternity cover starting in September
  • Responsibility teaching English to students of all abilities
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS (£22,467 - £38,663)
  • Be able to deliver 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Practice
  • The school welcome applications from English teachers of all experience levels (NQT's and experienced English teachers)

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a good Roman Catholic school where the leadership and management have been scored outstanding by Ofsted. The school have high expectations from staff and students and aim to achieve the highest academic standards. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in reaching these standards and must be able to deliver passionate and motivating English lessons.

Located in Farnworth, bordering Bolton and Salford area this is a school serving a diverse catchment area. This is an excellent school where pupils are well behaved and have a good attitude to learning. Previous teaching within catholic secondary schools is not essential.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
