We are currently seeking an English Teacher for a highly reputable school in the Croydon area to begin from January 2019. The school prides itself for the quality of education delivered to its students and the school is looking for a teacher with strong subject knowledge who is able to raise the attainment of their students, as well as creating challenging and innovative lesson plans.

As an English Teacher you will be required to work along side the Head of Department to plan and deliver lessons for KS3 through to KS5 students. A desirable candidate will have the ability to quickly adapt to the school's culture and ethos and motivate and inspire the students within their class.

The Role

The Person

  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience (NQT considered).
  • Must have QTS.
  • Must be able to obtain a clean DBS check.
  • Ability to teach across KS3 - KS5.
  • The drive and stamina to exceed school expectations and targets.
  • Strong subject knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbally.
  • Fantastic work ethic.
  • References and 6 year career history required.
