Full-Time Teaching Assistant Opportunity – Cardiff 
Location: Cardiff 
Pay: £89.38 per day
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

About the Role:
Teaching Personnel are seeking a proactive and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a KS2 class in a welcoming Primary School located in the heart of Cardiff. You will also be providing 1:1 support to a child with additional learning needs, helping them reach their full potential in a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide consistent 1:1 support for a child with additional needs

• Deliver targeted interventions to individuals or small groups

• Support the teacher and pupils with day-to-day classroom activities

• Maintain positive behaviour and promote a safe, inclusive learning space

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Confidence working with children of varying abilities and needs

• Good behaviour management skills

• A positive, energetic attitude and willingness to learn

• Experience working with children (either personally or professionally – desirable)

Requirements:

• Enhanced Child-Only DBS (we can assist with your application)

• EWC registration (mandatory for education roles in Wales)

• References provided for all recent employers
