About the Role

We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools in Cardiff. Whether you are seeking full-time or part-time work, we have opportunities to suit your availability.

We welcome applications from candidates with classroom experience as well as those with transferable skills gained through working with children in other settings. If you're passionate about supporting young learners and helping them reach their potential, apply today.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for individuals who are:

  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Confident communicators with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and able to use their own initiative
  • Passionate about supporting children's learning and development
  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and eager to make a difference

Essential Requirements

Applicants should have experience working with children in some capacity, such as:

  • Sports Coach
  • Nursery Assistant or Play Worker
  • Care Worker
  • Guides or Scouts Volunteer
  • Other relevant childcare or educational settings

In addition, the following are required before starting work:

  • Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child Workforce)
  • Education Workforce Council (EWC) Registration – a mandatory requirement for working in Welsh schools

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
