English Teacher – Secondary School – Levenshulme – September 2025 Start – Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS)

Are you an enthusiastic and creative English Teacher ready to inspire the next generation of readers, writers, and critical thinkers?

A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Levenshulme is seeking a passionate English Teacher to join their thriving English department from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent role, open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

The Role:

  • Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with opportunities for KS5 depending on experience

  • Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all learners

  • Support students' progress through high-quality marking, feedback, and interventions

  • Collaborate with a forward-thinking English department committed to excellence in teaching and learning

  • Contribute to extra-curricular opportunities such as reading clubs, debate teams, and creative writing workshops
