About the role:
- Start-date: 1st September
- Ongoing/long-term
- Opportunity to earn £30,000 to £40,000 (dependent on experience/payscale)
As a Secondary English Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching a range of English classes across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students with a love for literature, language, and creative writing. The role will also involve planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
Requirements:
- Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS)
- A degree in English or related field
- Experience teaching English at secondary level (can include PGCE placements)
- Excellent communication and behaviour management
- A passion for inspiring students and fostering a love of language and literature
