English Teacher

English teacher required for a full-time teaching post which begins in January 2019.

Due to an upcoming staffing gap, our client secondary school based in the Hindley area of Wigan wish to appoint an English teacher on a temporary basis for two terms with the opportunity to secure a permanent post beyond this initial temporary period.

• Full-time English teaching position, January 2019 start.
• Initially offered on a temporary basis for two terms with the opportunity to secure a permanent post.
• Pay in line with MPS/UPS standards £23,720 - £39,406 per annum.
• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status specialising in English
• Newly Qualified Teachers are encouraged to apply.

To be considered for the role, you must have experience teaching English to students aged 11-16 and be able to teach English at GCSE level. It is important that you are able to take responsibility for a complete timetable consisting of full planning and marking responsibilities.
