English teacher needed for Glossop based secondary school to start in January on a full time basis for 2 terms until July 2019. Small in size with around 600 pupils on roll, this small catholic school are looking for an inspirational English teacher who will assist students in reaching their expected levels of progress in line with attainment 8 scores.
The English department has 4 full time teachers and an experienced head of department who is also a senior leader. The successful English teacher will be expected to take on full planning and marking responsibilities.
The school achieves in line with national averages academically and within the local education authority. You will be well supported by the English department and given access to regular CPD opportunities.

To be successful for this English teaching post you will need to have suitable teaching references, qualified teacher status in the UK, experience of teaching in the UK and eligibility for a fully enhanced DBS.
