English teacher needed for 'Good' secondary school in Hartlepool

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced English teacher to fill a role in one of our 'Good' schools in Hartlepool in the new year. The ideal candidate should have some previous classroom experience, as you will be leading lessons for around 20 pupils and therefore a strong command of students' attention and behaviour control is necessary. Ideally, candidates applying for this role should also be able to keep students on-track to achieve, or even exceed, their targets.

OVERVIEW

  • Role commencing after Christmas
  • Delivering English curriculum to KS3-KS5 in accordance to exam board specifications
  • Long-term, full-time position
  • Ensuring high achievement creatively, with consideration towards the unique needs of each pupil
  • Pay rates ranging from £120-160 a day
  • Opportunities to develop skills and experience on your CV-growing your appeal as a candidate for future jobs
  • Possibility of a longer contract at the school's discretion if the candidate is particularly successful during exam season

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
