English Intervention Tutor

Our client school located in Salford wish to appoint a English Teacher or Teaching Assistant ahead of April 2021 to provide support to Year 10 pupils ahead of examinations in 2022.

This position will be on a temporary basis from April 2021 until June 2022. The school wish to appoint an English Intervention Assistant, making it the ideal opportunity for any English teachers looking for a role with less responsibility or a English graduate who is looking to gain experience working as a teaching assistant.

This is a part time opportunity whereby the successful applicant will be required to work within the English department for three days per week, providing tuition support to pupils who have been identified to require additional support within their English studies.

• Part time English Intervention Teacher/TA – April 2021 start
• Providing English tuition to pupils aged 14 – 16 who are preparing for GCSE examinations in 2022
• Salford based secondary school with accessible via public transport from central Manchester
• Earn up to GBP100 per day

Within this English Intervention role you will work directly within the English department supporting pupil on a one to one and small group basis where you will receive support from a highly experience Head of Department. You will be required to provide additional English support to pupils in key stage 4 who require support in raising their attainment to ensure they achieve their target grades. 

Situated in Salford, our partner school can easily be accessed from neighbouring areas central Manchester, Leigh and Bolton. The A580 (East Lancashire Road) provides a direct route to the school.
