English graduate Teaching Assistant - Wirral
Teaching Personnel are seeking a English graduate Teaching Assistant to work in our partner secondary schools across the Wirral (Wallasey, Ellesmere Port, Neston). This roles will be to specifically focus on raising attainment in English prior to the GCSE examinations. This is a unique opening for any English graduates to support directly within a English department at a high performing secondary schools:
- English graduate Teaching Assistant
- Working under the Head of English to deliver pre-set work
- Tutoring pupils with their GCSE exam preparation
- Supporting 1-to-1 in English lessons and to carry out small group sessions
This role provides English graduates with a fantastic opportunities to utilise their subject knowledge and make a difference in pupil's lives. It will also provide invaluable experience prior to any English graduates thinking of completing their teacher training in the future.
The incoming English graduate will ideally have previous experience of working with 11-16 year old's in an educational capacity. Further being able to deliver resources confidently and to build effective working relationships with pupils is essential.
