Title: English Graduate Intervention Specialist
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and motivated English graduate intervention specialist to join Teaching Personnel and start work at one of our linked schools come Easter 2024 (Stockport). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing targeted support to students who need additional assistance in English, including those with special educational needs and those who are falling behind their peers. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits providing the candidate is able to meet the following requirements -
Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality intervention sessions to small groups or individuals
- Assessing students' needs and creating personalised learning plans
- Monitoring progress and adapting interventions as necessary
- Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to ensure students receive appropriate support
- Providing feedback to students, parents, and teachers on progress and areas for improvement
- Keeping accurate records of interventions and student progress
Requirements:
- A degree in English or a related subject
- Experience working with students in a secondary school setting
- Knowledge of the English curriculum and assessment requirements
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
