Calling all current ECT’s and current PGCE Students

Our current clients are based in Leeds, Bradford, Kirklees, Huddersfield, Harrogate and Calderdale secondary schools and together we are looking to recruit a number of ECT’s who will be fully vetted/cleared and ready to interview after for September 2022 job roles in their schools. With the summer holidays already started for some, this is a very busy time for school recruitment.

Delaying the process could result in you missing much of the teaching roles that schools will soon be advertising!

To be considered for this role, ideally you will be: a current PGCE student or hold ECT status:

  • Have experience working with secondary age students, KS3-4 in some capacity whether voluntary or paid.
  • Have flexible availability and be able to work within an ever changing environment.
  • Have the ability to use public transport or have their own vehicle.
  • Experience leading and delivering planned work to group of children aged 11+
  • The ability to manage challenging behaviour
  • A calm and punctual manner – excellent time keeping
  • A fully enhanced DBS certificate on the DBS update service (can be applied for through Teaching Personnel)

Although we have clients in all of the surrounding LEA’s, I am specifically looking for current PGCE students and ECT’s that live and want to work in BRADFORD. Right now we are seeing such a teacher shortage that many of our ECT’s are securing security almost instantly – 2-3 years ago this just did not happen. It was also a case of SLT telling us, “can they go away and get more experience”. Those days have gone and this is a great time to be an ECT in and around BRADFORD.

Our schools are based at every corner of the City and a large majority of them have easy access to public transport, for those who do not drive!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
