Early Career Teachers (ECTs) – Start Your Teaching Journey with Confidence
Location: Primary Schools across Wigan (including Leigh, Hindley, Standish & Ashton-in-Makerfield)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Flexible Supply
Salary: Paid to Scale (MPS1–UPS), Weekly PAYE

We are seeking passionate and dedicated ECTs to join vibrant and inclusive primary schools across the Wigan area. Whether you're looking for your first permanent role or would prefer flexible supply opportunities to explore a variety of school settings, we’re here to support your first steps into the profession.

Who We’re Looking For:
- Trainee or newly qualified teachers with QTS (or pending).
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and a desire to make a difference.
- Positive, flexible, and resilient educators ready to take on new challenges.
- Those with enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A commitment to inclusive teaching practices and child-centred learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
