The Role:
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a warm and welcoming primary school located just off the A58 in Ashton-in-Makerfield. The school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This role offers a great opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a school that values high-quality teaching and strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Track and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
• Establish positive classroom routines and promote good behaviour.
• Work effectively as part of a team to support whole-school development.
• Engage with parents and carers to build strong home-school partnerships.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1 is desirable.
• A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
• A current Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).
