Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Primary school based in Stretford, Manchester, M32. The primary school are searching for someone who can help support their pupils that have English as an additional language (EAL). The school is well above the national average for primary school in having EAL students and is looking to give them the best support they possibly can in order to succeed in the school.

The school has recently appointed a new look senior team having appointed a new Head Teacher, Deputy Head and Assistant Head within the last year. The new team has implemented lost of now policies and made extremely good amounts of progress with the school in the short time they have been there. In their latest OFSTED report earlier this year the head teacher was described as "leading the school back on a path towards excellence".

The role will involve working in the Early Years classes as the school want their pupils to have as much help as possible from their earliest times in the school. The role will involve support the EAL pupils in their writing and spelling in order to make them understand the English vocabulary on a better level. The majority of the EAL pupils are fluent in Urdu so it is necessary the candidate also be able to speak this language to be able to engage with the pupils and offer the right support.

The role will be beginning at the start of the academic year and will be a permanent role.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
