Drama Teaching Role- High Wycombe- January 2019

Job description

A School in the High Wycombe area are looking to recruit a full time Drama teacher. The secondary school are looking for an outgoing, fun Drama Teacher to join their lively team in order to help develop the department and raise success of students in this area. This role will be commencing in January 2019 (or before)

Potential candidates must hold QTS and have a current DBS that is registered with the update service (if you do not currently hold a DBS we can assist you with the application process.) The successful candidate will either be a NQT or have a QTS (or equivalent,) and should have experience in delivering structured but enjoyable Drama lessons that engage pupils.

The school that we are working with in High Wycombe already has an excellent performing arts department with a high percentage of students going on to study Music, Dance or Drama in their GCSE's. The team in this department is ever-expanding and the three subject areas work very closely to put on various performances and shows throughout the year, therefore the right candidate will be willing to go the extra mile in assisting in the planning of this.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
