Stockport based Secondary school are looking to appoint a Design Technology teacher for September due to a vacancy within the technology department. The technology department has 6 full time teachers and an experienced head of department.

There are over 800 students on roll at his school with high levels of students eligible for free school levels at 35%, low levels of students who use English as an additional language and academically achieves below averages for the borough of Stockport.

The timetable will consist of delivering Design Technology and Resistant materials across KS3 and KS4 so previous experience of this is essential within n a UK secondary school. There will be an emphasis on engaging students within the design technology curriculum and ensuring students are reaching their expected levels of progress within he subject.

This will be a full time position initially on a temporary basis through Teaching Personnel with the option to earn a school based contract after a term as this is an open vacancy. The school has an ethos of growing their won through regular COPD and career development opportunities.
