Curriculum Leader for Design Technology
Start: September 2021/January 2022
Salary: MPR/UPR (TLR 2b)
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Key Stages: KS3 and KS4
The North-East Hampshire based school graded ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted, have an exciting opportunity for a talented and well qualified teacher to lead and develop Design Technology (Resistant Materials and Graphics) at the school, on a permanent basis from September 2021 or January 2022. You will teach the subject from Years 7 – 11 and develop and implement the strategic vision for the curriculum area.
The subject is taught in two specialist DT workshops and two dedicated Graphics rooms, along with a specialist staff work area. The subject is very popular across Key Stage 4 and there are some exciting opportunities to further enhance the quality of the provision. The school welcomes applications from recently qualified teachers as well as existing and aspiring future leaders. The successful teacher would be involved in extra-curricular activities where possible and the pastoral life of this busy school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
