Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit Cover Supervisors on behalf of a number of partner Secondary School in Thurrock, Essex.


The role of a Graduate Cover Supervisor would be best suited to graduates/upcoming graduates, future teachers and PGCE applicants who want to gain flexible supply work in the classroom to build their teaching skills and experience! 


About the Role: The role of a Cover Supervisor is extremely varied. You will be a dynamic and flexible individual who is able to cover across a number of different subject areas, able to manage behaviour and also build positive and long-lasting relationships with both pupils and staff.

  • Deliver and facilitate work to be completed by pupils
  • Create a positive and safe learning environment for the duration of the class
  • Manage behavioural issues if they arise
  • Provide detailed feedback to the teacher to pick up upon their return to work
  • Flexible, regular work anywhere from 1 day to 5 days to fit in with your desired work schedule!
