Cover Supervisor

Exciting opportunity to support students aged 11-16 within a large secondary school near Salford, covering pre-planned lessons and working alongside teachers and senior leaders.

• Flexible, part-time, and full-time opportunities as a cover supervisor/unqualified teacher.

• Earn up to £1450 per month.

Roles and responsibilities of a cover supervisor:

• Covering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the teacher across a range of subjects.
• Assess and evaluate pupils’ progress in the absence of the teacher and report any important updates back on their return.
• Manage behaviour and ensure all tasks are completed by all pupils.

This position is ideal for those applicants who are considering a future career in teaching. It will allow you to gain the necessary skills and experience for those considering applying to teacher training courses. This position is also perfect for candidates who are looking for flexible work, alongside another role or current course due to flexible working hours.

Applicants will ideally have previous experience working within education however, any transferrable skills to work with children and young people will be considered.

Our partner school is in Salford and can be easily accessed via the M62 and A580 from surrounding areas such as Stretford, Trafford, and Bolton. For applicants who do not drive, the school also has excellent links to public transport from neighbouring areas of Salford.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
