Job description

Position: Cover Supervisor

Start Date: September 2024

Pay rate: £85-£100 per day

Hours: Flexible

An opportunity has arisen to join Teaching Personnel as a flexible Cover Supervisor, covering across the Chorley area on a day-to-day basis. During this role you may be offered both long term placements and day to day placements.

Responsibilities:

-          Supervise classrooms in the absence of the Class Teacher.

-          Ensure a positive and productive learning environment.

-          Follow provided lesson plans and maintain classroom management.

-          Strong behaviour management.

Requirements:

-          Hold an Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to apply for one.

-          Comfortable managing classrooms independently.

-          Ability to adapt to various subject areas and year groups.

-          Ability to manage behaviour.

-          Supportive nature.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
