Our Manchester secondary office is located in Manchester city centre, and services 12 secondary schools located in central and South Manchester. Our client secondary schools are seeking Cover Supervisors to work in their schools, covering lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher. This Cover Supervisor vacancy is for a flexible position, with day-to-day and short term work available. There is an opportunity to start this position immediately. Our client schools are seeking a Cover Supervisors who can display good behavioural management, and display a passion for education.

As a Cover Supervisor, your main role will be delivering pre planned lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher. When cover is not needed, you will be working in a supporting role within your subject specialist area. You will be working in the classroom, supporting the classroom teacher, and you will be working with small groups of pupils providing intervention. This presents an opportunity to be introduced to a range of Manchester secondary schools.

The successful Cover Supervisor will display good behavioural and classroom management skills.
