We are seeking a highly motivated Core Subject Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Brent. The successful candidate will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to contribute to post-16 teaching for suitable applicants. We welcome applications from specialists in English, Mathematics, or Science, who are confident in delivering engaging lessons, committed to high standards, and ready to contribute fully to the wider life of the school.
Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare and deliver high quality lessons in line with the curriculum, ensuring lessons are challenging, creative and inclusive.

Assess, track and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.

Maintain high expectations of behaviour, creating a safe, positive and stimulating classroom environment.
-
Contribute to the development of schemes of work and departmental initiatives to raise attainment and engagement.

Participate in extracurricular activities, school events and enrichment opportunities, helping to inspire a love of learning beyond the classroom.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support the academic and personal development of all students.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with the ability to teach English, Mathematics or Science across KS3 and KS4.

Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver lessons that inspire, challenge and motivate students.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Dedication to continuous professional development and reflective practice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
