Chorley Support Worker

Are you a Behaviour Specialist seeking work in the Chorley area?

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Secondary School based on the outskirts of Chorley who cater for pupils with behavioural difficulties, ADHD, Anxiety and Mental Health Difficulties. Often pupils in School will also have special educational needs including Autism.

The School is smaller than average and pupils are aged between 11-17 years old. The School is currently housing around 70 pupils which is nearly full capacity and they are therefor seeking additional support. The School are seeking a candidate who is hard working, has experience with SEN and/or behavioural difficulties and the candidate must also be willing to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils who are potentially aggressive in their behaviour.

The candidate must be seeking a long term role and be willing to work one voluntary day in School prior to the start of the role. The role will be long term, likely for the rest of the academic year but definitely until the Easter holidays.
