Teaching Personnel are assisting with the staffing of a School in the Burnley area. The School is smaller than average with under 100 pupils on roll between the ages of 11 - 17 years. The pupils in School have a range of additional needs including; SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, ODD and Challenging Behaviours. The School cater for pupils who can no longer remain in mainstream education and may display quite violent or aggressive behaviours.
The candidate must be willing to work on a 1:1 or small group basis with pupils who can be difficult and candidates must be patient, empathetic and resilient. The candidate will ideally have experience supporting adults or children with SEMH Difficulties and candidates must be willing to work full time.
The successful candidate will benefit from:
- Negotiable pay rates £57 - 66 per day
- Long term position available
- Rewarding position supporting pupils with SEMH Difficulties
The role will start as soon as possible and it is likely to continue for the rest of the academic year.
The candidate must be fully committed to making a difference in pupil's lives and be willing to provide one voluntary day in School prior to the role commencing.
