Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive both inside and outside the classroom?

A welcoming and inclusive junior school in West London is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and proactive individual to join their team. This varied role combines classroom-based SEND support, lunchtime supervision and after-school care, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building strong relationships with pupils throughout the school day.

The Role

You'll work closely with pupils who require additional support, helping them access learning, develop confidence and achieve their individual goals. Alongside classroom responsibilities, you'll support children during lunchtime and help deliver engaging activities within an after-school provision.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Assisting teachers to create an inclusive learning environment
• Encouraging pupil independence, confidence and engagement
• Supporting positive behaviour and social development
• Supervising children during lunchtime activities
• Helping to deliver fun, safe and engaging after-school sessions
• Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

• Experience working with children in a school, nursery or childcare setting
• Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly autism, is highly desirable
• A Level 2 qualification (Level 3 preferred)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A patient, nurturing and positive approach
• A genuine passion for supporting children's development and wellbeing
