Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a Behaviour Mentor, to work within a LE5 primary school. We are seeking someone who has the confidence with dealing with students who have behavioural problems and can exert aggressive behaviour. The Behaviour Mentor role is challenging but rewarding as you will supporting a range of different students with an EHCP.

  • Behaviour Mentor supporting students aged 4-11
  • Working within a mainstream primary school 
  • Starting in the new academic year, in September 2019
  • Competitive pay, paid on a weekly basis
  • working 8:30- 3:30 Monday - Friday term time only

The head and SENCO are looking to strengthen their team, by recruiting an experienced Behaviour Mentor. The successful Behaviour Mentor will be joining a strong, experienced, hard working team, who is well trained to support challenged students. You will have the opportunity to undertake a range of training courses, to help you become the best Behaviour Mentor possible.

The successful Behaviour Mentor we are looking for will;

  • Have previous experienced working within a primary school, SEN School or inclusion unit, supporting challenging students
  • Have undertaken training for supporting students with behavioural issues
  • Be able to commit to a full time role, creating a strong relationship with the students
  • Have the confidence dealing with heated situations, having the knowledge and experience to diffuse them
  • Have undertaken restrain training
  • Have a good knowledge on the main core subjects, to support the students academic learning

The primary school looking to recruit a Behaviour Mentor to work across the school or on a 1:1 basis with a named child. The school is  located in the heart of Leicester, close to the centre. With many public transport links close by, it is very easy to access our client's primary school. With modern facilities, in and out of the classroom to help the students learn, this is a great opportunity for a Behaviour Mentor to support students and help them achieve their goals.
