Behavioural Teaching assistant needed for a Cardiff Secondary School.

The School and Position

-Position: Maternity Cover Until 2018

-Pay Rates: Up to £300 per week dependant on experience

-Fixed term contract starting September 2017 with possibilities of becoming permanent.

-Behavioural teaching assistant for secondary school pupils aged between 11-19

-EXCELLENT Estyn rating.

-Large school with over 1000 pupils

-Easy transport links. Situated 10 minutes from City Centre

The successful behavioural teaching assistant

-Educated to Degree level is preferred but not essential.

-Previous experience working within a school is desirable.

-Be confident and have the ability to build report with pupils and act as a mentor and support function.

-Work closely with the SENCO.

-Show a passion for education and the capabilities to work in challenging situations.

-Registered with the Education Workforce Council
