Behaviour Support Workers required- Manchester

Job description

There are multiple full time positions available for Behaviour Support Assistants. The positions are full time permanent positions and are commencing after February half term.

This particular Setting is a Pupil Referral Unit which is based in Manchester. The main aim of the setting is to integrate pupils back into mainstream; however this is not always possible. The pupils who attend this setting often show signs of challenging behaviour, so therefore it will be ideal for Behaviour Support Assistants to have extensive experience of working with pupils who display signs of challenging behaviour.

The ideal Behaviour Support Assistants will have:

  • Team-Teach training (desirable)
  • Extensive experience working with pupils who display signs of challenging behaviour
  • Experience of working within a PRU (desirable)
  • A qualification related to Youth Work or Behaviour

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
