Do you have experience working with young people who display challenging behaviour?

Are you interested in a Behaviour Support role in Salford?

Teaching Personnel are working alongside several Secondary schools in Salford who have recognised a staffing gap in the Behaviour Support department. Many of these schools contain students who display challenging behaviour and therefore, this can have an impact on their academic progress. Our client schools are looking for extra Behaviour Support Assistants to support specific students at various levels of learning.

If this sounds of interest to you, please see further information about this role below:

  • Full-time and Part-time Behaviour Support Assistant roles available

  • Supporting students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis when withdrawn from classrooms
  • Opportunity to work in several Secondary schools in Salford
  • Providing support both inside and outside the classroom
  • Earn up to ÂŁ350 per week, depending on experience

Working as a Behaviour Support Assistant, roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting students who require additional support due to behavioural difficulties
  • Monitoring and evaluating students' progress and reporting back to Senior teachers
  • Both planning and delivering interventions suitable for students at various levels of learning ability
  • Providing support across a range of subjects alongside students' behavioural difficulties
  • Working alongside Senior staff as well as a large group of other support staff to monitor students' progress

Our partner schools have advised that candidates should have previous experience of a role with similar responsibilities such as providing support for pupils with learning or behavioral difficulties.

Our client Secondary schools are located across the area of Salford and are easily accessible from surrounding areas of Greater Manchester via the M60 and A580. For candidates who do not drive, our partner schools are accessible via several forms of public transportation from areas such as Bury, central Manchester and Bolton.
