Teaching Personnel are looking for a candidate to work as a Behavioural Support Assistant at a school in the Wigan area. The pupils are aged 5-11 with SENs, primarily with SEMH and BESD.
This role is temporary, but with a high possibility of becoming permanent if you settle into the job well.
Pay will start at GBP10 per hour, with working hours typically being from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Psychology, Counselling or other relevant degree (not essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience with SEN
Main responsibilties would involve:
- Intervening when pupils' behaviour requires attention
- Engaging students to ensure they stay on track with the curriculum
- Reporting back to the relevant parties to promote a high standard of care among staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
