Behaviour Mentor required in Lancashire ASAP!

Are you a Youth Worker seeking a position in the Lancashire area?

If so, Teaching Personnel are seeking a Youth/Support Worker to work in one of our partner schools in Preston. The School provides education for KS2-4 pupils with behavioural difficulties, SEMH difficulties and Autism. The pupils in this School can often display verbally and physically challenging behaviours and a candidate will be favoured if they have their Team Teach qualification, although this is not essential.

The School is smaller than average and the pupils in this School have often come from disadvantaged backgrounds and pupils who have been excluded or expelled from mainstream education, not always due to behaviour. The School hours are 8.45am - 3.30pm and you may be expected to work off site in the outreach centre.

The candidate must be hard working, have a good work ethic, be willing to work with pupils who may display challenging behaviours and have experience de-escalating difficult behaviours. The candidate must be available full time and it would be ideal if the candidate has access to their own transport.
