Behaviour learning support assistant, Kidbrooke primary school

Behaviour focussed Learning Support Assistant required for an Ofsted rated 'good' primary school in the London Borough of Greenwich.

• Full time position available (08:30am - 15:30pm, Monday - Friday)
• Starting after the Easter holidays

• £60 - £85 per day, dependent on experience

You will be providing 1:1 support for a class of mixed year 5/6 students, who have behavioural difficulties including exclusions from other mainstream schools. The class is comprised of just 6 students, and your role will involve supporting the children to complete the work set by the class teacher, which will follow the national curriculum. You must therefore have good numeracy, literacy and ICT skills.

They have a new Head of Department who is working hard to ensure that as many pupils as possible have the opportunity to make it back into mainstream education. You will be supported by the class teacher as well as the Head of Department in making a real difference to the lives of children from disadvantaged and challenging backgrounds.
