- Do you have experience working with young people with Autism?
- Do you have a CACHE Level 2 or equivalent or a degree in Psychology/Early Years Studies?
- Do you have 3 months experience working within a school or SEN setting and want to receive pay up to £65 per day? If so, we have the perfect role for you.
Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant, experienced in supporting students with autism and severe learning difficulties between KS1 and KS2 for a SEN school in Newcastle, West Jesmond.
Ideally applicants would have experience with ASC and SLD in a SEN school setting from KS1 - KS2. Additional qualifications such as Team Teach and Autism Awareness is desired. We would also welcome applicants with relevant transferrable skills such as Youth Workers or Support Workers as well as recent university graduates.
Our ideal candidate will have:
• 3 months experience supporting students with ASC and SLD in a mainstream or SEN setting
• NCFE/CACHE Level 2 Supporting and Learning in Schools or educated to a degree level
• Patient and nurturing mannerism with a desire to work in SEN
