1:1 Teaching Assistant - Alkrington - 1:1 Global Delay Teaching Assistant

Are you a graduate with some experience of supporting children with learning difficulties? We are seeking a dependable and determined 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in Alkrington.

This 1:1 Teaching Assistant role is to support a child with Global Delay going into Year 1. Your responsibilities will include aiding the academic, social and personal development of a Year 1 pupil with Global Delay, working alongside the class teacher, SENCo and liaising with Educational Psychologists and parents to ensure the pupil is engaged and making progress.

• Experience working with SEN pupils
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• Proven confident and engaging interaction with children
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• The ability to work well as part of a team

The role will be on a full time, long term basis and will begin week commencing Tuesday 3^rd September 2019.
