Teaching Personnel are looking for a qualified teacher of any subjects or cover supervisor to deliver 1:1 tuition on a weekly basis for looked after children. Sessions usually last for 1 to 2 hours depending on the needs of the child and have flexibility on the timings that these can be held.
The teacher will:
- Hold QTS (qualified teacher status) or an overseas teaching degree converted by Naric
- Prepare tutoring sessions to meet the students individual needs
- Provide regular feedback to senior leadership team, care team, caregivers and students
- Ensure the learning materials used are up to date and relevant to the subject area
- Act in a professional manor at all times
- Report directly to the agency on a regular basis about any changes to the tuition
- Strive to ensure that the individual reaches their full potential
