LKS2 Teacher

Location:

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Lower Key Stage 2 children 
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to pups and parents
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practises and pupil outcomes
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum for Lower Key Stage 2

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of pupils
  • Organisational skills and the ability to manage classroom activities effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a classroom setting with Lower Key Stage 2 students. Full-time hours are expected, with occasional participation in school events outside regular hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
