One to One Tutors and small group tutors required in the Fareham, Waterlooville and Portsmouth areas

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with various secondary schools in the local rea who are looking to provide additional educational support to students through their GCSE period. The aim of the tuition is to promote progress, raise aspirations and improve overall educational outcomes for their students. The schools seek ambitious individuals who are passionate about teaching, learning and their subject to support a range of students ranging from the most vulnerable to gifted and talented students. We are seeking tutors who a degree of flexibility and are happy to work in a range of educational environments as well as students homes.

The ideal candidate would be:

• A graduate of English, Maths or Science or related degree with a 2.1
• Second and third year university students considered
• Ideally have prior experience of working within education or with young people
• Be expert in their subject and demonstrate sound subject knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 national curriculum for it, or be confident delivering a core subject
• Be committed to their continual professional development and show willingness to participate in relevant training courses
• Be an effective and sensitive communicator and be able to differentiate for a range of learning styles
• Retired teachers who can offer a few hours per week
