Teaching Personnel require a Youth Worker to support pupils in our client school in the Teesside area on a 1:1 and sometimes small group basis from February 2020. The successful youth worker will be assisting students with any needs they have, whether these are learning, SEN, behaviour or SEMH related.
The school is a large vibrant secondary school for students aged 11-16. Friendly and experienced teaching staff work together to support the school and ensure that each student is enabled to achieve their full potential. The collective strength of the schools staff ensures that the ethos and values provide all pupils with the high quality teaching and learning within a supportive environment.
Previous experience working as a Youth Worker is preferred; however the school would consider applications from candidates with transferable experiences or skills, or those who have supported young people within secondary schools in the past. Alternatively the school would also welcome applications from graduates with psychology related degrees. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful secondary school in Teesside to make a real difference to young people's lives.
