Year 6 Teaching Assistant Required for "Good" Primary School in Salford, M7 - February Start

Year 6 Teaching Assistant in Salford.

Working closely with Key Stage 2 Teaching Team delivering Maths and English SATS support.

Full time role

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a good Primary School close to the Broughton area of Salford, M7, to look for a Year 6 Teaching Assistant join their key stage 2 department from February. Due to the desire for the school to support their children to achieve the best possible SATS results this year, they would like the incoming Year 6 teaching assistant to start after February half term for the rest of the academic year.

The Role:

  • Year 6 Teaching Assistant
  • Delivering Maths and English support leading towards the SATS
  • Full Time role starting February

This large primary school within Salford offer great facilities and a support network within their Key Stage 2 department. The school's facilities are second to none to allow for a high standard of teaching and learning to go along with their proud awards for pupil premium expenditure. The headteacher is keen to make sure his year 6 pupils have the best chance of succeeding so is keen to add another member of staff to support the year 6 teachers and also take small group intervention sessions for both the lower ability and higher achievers.

The Salford school are looking to arrange trial days and appoint someone after February half term with a view to carrying on for the whole academic year and beyond.
