This excellent school requires a teaching assistant for KS2 Year 6 pupils; the Church Of England School has exceptional pastoral care and love which is shown to all in its community. The school is looking for a candidate to stimulate and aid in improving the levels of Literacy and Numeracy of its pupils.

The successful applicant will be working with a group of up to 30 students in a one form entry school and is required to have previous experience specifically, with students in KS2 or with a thorough understanding of KS2 UK curriculum. Applicants must hold the appropriate qualifications and be available for interviews immediately.

The role involves general teaching assistant cover, supporting the teacher while in class as well as giving extra support to specific pupils who are finding the understanding of Numeracy and Literacy a little more difficult. The school needs the teaching assistant to be passionate and forward-thinking and have the ability to motivate students in their learning. In return the school offers welcoming and supportive staffs that is willing to share ideas and drive to continually improve the learning environment of its enthusiastic students.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
