Year 4 Teaching Assistant required for Partington Primary School, Trafford, M31.

Year 5 Teaching Assistant

General TA with Intervention duties

Outstanding facilities and support structures in place

I am currently working with a reputable Primary Academy within the Partington area of Trafford. Due to a resignation triggered by a career change, the school are looking for a Year 5 Teaching Assistant for a late April / ASAP start. There is the potential for the position to continue on to a school's contract for the right person.

The school can offer outstanding facilities, a great, supportive staff team and an outstanding commitment to developing the careers of support assistant.

  • Year 5 Teaching Assistant
  • Small group work and specific interventions.
  • Supporting English, SPAG and Maths
  • Trial days to ascertain whether the school is right for you.
  • Working until the end of the academic year.

The Ideal Person…

  • Will have strong behaviour management skills and good subject knowledge.
  • Will have a positive attitude, personality, high energy and motivation and good work ethic.
  • Will be willing to be flexible and potentially commit to the role for the rest of the academic year (although not essential.)

This school is in requires improvement, however OFSTED have commented on how the SLT have put many structures and strategies in place to drive them towards being a "Good" school very soon.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
