Year 5 Teacher Required in Wigan Primary School

Year 5 full time teaching role

Long term supply role

Salary: £22,023- £37,496 (depending on experience)

Are you experienced working within Year 5? Do you have a strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum? Do you have a real passion to make a difference in pupils learning?

If so a larger than average school located in the Orrell area is currently looking to appoint a Year 5 Class Teacher to join their KS2 team. The school has been described by Ofsted as 'a highly successful and happy school. It lives and breathes its motto of Believe Endeavour Succeed Together'. Therefore they are looking for someone who can become a valued member if their team and who can support the already supportive, caring, nurturing environment that they have established.

As the school is located in the Orrell area it can be easily accessed via Wigan, Standish, Chorley, Skemersdale and St. Helens.

In order to be successful for this role you will need to:

  • Have a strong knowledge of the Year 5 curriculum.
  • Have a minimum of a one year experience working within Year 5.
  • Be able to demonstrate good practice, ensuring that all pupils are able to make progress.
  • Be adaptable and able to meet the needs of all children in order to create an inclusive environment, in order to enable all pupils to succeed.
  • Be a good communicator and team player.
  • Have a strong classroom presence and be able to implement effective behaviour management techniques.
