Year 3 Part-time Teaching Role - April 2019 Start!

A reputable school in Blackburn are actively seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and passionate Year 3 Class Teacher. The KS2 position is to start after the Easter break from April 2019 to cover maternity leave and will continue until December 2019. This is a one-form entry Primary School located close to the 'central Blackburn' area and is commutable via public transport links.
This is a part-time Class Teaching role working alongside a partner teacher and the school are looking for a practitioner who is eager to get involved in all aspects of school life. The school welcomes applications from Experienced and Newly Qualified Teachers. The school is made up of a supportive staff team and the planning responsibilities will be shared alongside your partner teacher.
The School was graded as 'Good' by Ofsted and it was said that most students reach the expected levels in reading, writing and mathematics at the end of Year 6. The pupils are welcoming, friendly and polite and they are eager to learn. Behaviour in school is generally very good due to the effective behaviour policies and strategies introduced by the Senior Leadership Team implemented across the whole school.
The successful candidate will be given full support from the Senior Leaders. To apply for this role you must be confident delivering the National Curriculum to pupils in Lower Key Stage 2 and have a genuine passion for working with children and maximising attainment in the classroom. This is a rare opportunity to grow and develop professionally within a fantastic Primary School. The school are also committed to helping Newly Qualified Teachers complete their induction and potentially have the capacity to support an NQT. We are able to offer competitive rates of pay for this role dependant upon experience.
